Katsina State CDP Sets To Conduct Projects Evaluation Across 34 LGA's

The Katsina State Community Development Programme (CDP) has concluded all arrangements to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of projects executed by the Programme across all 34 Local Government Areas of the state.

The State Coordinator of the CDP, Associate Professor Kamaladdeen Kabir, disclosed this during a meeting with Monitoring and Evaluation Officers under the CDP.

Professor Kamaladdeen Kabir said the evaluation exercise would be conducted in phases, with the first phase involving a thorough inspection of motorcycles provided to some stakeholders responsible for implementing CDP projects across the state.

The CDP Co’ordinator said, the exercise was aimed at verifying that, the motorcycles inspected were the ones provided by the Programme and they were being properly utilised for the intended purpose.

He directed the Monitoring and Evaluation officers to carefully verify the particulars of the motorcycles during the exercise and report any irregularities or other undesirable circumstances for appropriate action.

Professor Kamaladdeen Kabir also urged all CDP stakeholders who benefited from the motorcycle distribution, to provide the necessary support and co’operation to the Monitoring and Evaluation officers to ensure the success of the exercise.

Responding, the Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation, Malam Kabir Sirajo, assured the State Coordinator that the exercise would be conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions guiding the assignment.
