Coalition of Katsina State Disable Groups Pays Thank-You Visit to CDP Coordinator

Leaders of the Coalition of Katsina State Disability Groups have paid a thank-you visit to the State Coordinator of the Community Development Programme (CDP), Associate Professor Kamaladeen Kabir.

 

The delegation was led by Honourable Umar Jibril Bindawa, Special Adviser to the Governor on Disabled Matters.

 

The visit provided an opportunity for the coalition to express the appreciation of people with special needs across the state for their inclusion in the various social intervention programmes being implemented under the CDP.

 

Speaking during the visit, the leader of the delegation commended the CDP Coordinator, Associate Professor Kamaladeen Kabir, for promoting fairness, equity and inclusion in the implementation of the programme.

 

The group described his efforts as a demonstration of the confidence reposed in him by the Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda.

 

He also prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and wisdom for the Coordinator in discharging his responsibilities and managing the affairs of the agency.

 

The delegation further expressed its commitment to supporting the administration of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and other APC candidates, saying people with special needs in Katsina State would continue to appreciate programmes that directly impact their lives.

 

In his response, the CDP Coordinator, Associate Professor Kamaladeen Kabir, expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and recognition.

 

He spoke extensively on various programmes introduced by the administration of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda aimed at improving the living conditions and economic wellbeing of people with special needs across the state.

 

He reaffirmed the commitment of the CDP to ensuring that vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities, are adequately considered in social intervention and community development initiatives.

 

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of an Award of Excellence to Associate Professor Kamaladeen Kabir by the Coalition of Katsina State Disability Groups in recognition of his contributions towards the inclusion and empowerment of persons with special needs in the state.
