The Katsina State Coordinator of Community Development Programme (CDP), Associate Professor Kamaladdeen Kabir has taken over the mantle of leadership of the State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA).
This was as a result of merging the CSDA with CDP as approved by the Executive Governor of Katsina State Malam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD., following an amendment bill passed by the State House of Assembly in that direction.
In his remarks while taking over the affairs of CSDA, the State Coordinator of CDP, Associate Professor Kamaladdeen Kabir commended Governor Dikko Radda for the execution of various developmental projects in the State that were aimed at improving the socioe-conomic living conditions of the people.
He assured the Governor that, he would do his best towards discharging the additional responsibility assigned to him in an effective and efficient manner.
Associate Professor Kamaladdeen also informed the staff of CSDA that, his leadership would be an open door policy one and called on them to put more efforts in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities.
While assuring them of staff welfare he said his leadership will not tolerate laxity and office abuse adding that, he would recommend to the State Government the possibility of employing contract staff among them based on the need analysis.
He then commended the out going CSDA General Manager, Alhaji Muhammad Dikko Abdul’aziz for performing excellently during his office tenure and wished him all the best in his new assigned responsibility.
Earlier in his handing over speech, the out going CSDA General Manager, Alhaji Muhammad Dikko Abdul’aziz thanked Almighty Allah for completing his tenure as GM CSDA successfully.
He commended the CSDA staff for performing excellently when they were working under him and called on them to maintain the tempo in the new system.
Alhaji Muhammad Dikko Abdul’aziz appreciated the support and cooperation accorded to him by the CSDA staff and appealed to them to extend similar gesture to Associate Professor Kamaladdeen Kabir who took over the affairs of CSDA.
The handing over ceremony was witnessed by the Permanent Secretary office of the Head of State Civil Service Alhaji Ado Yahaya, Some Directors of CDP and the entire staff of CSDA.
